National Seat Belt Day (NSBD) should also have its own dedicated page.
National Seat Belt Day is November 14, and we have created free guides that schools, businesses, law enforcement, first responders, churches, and communities can download and use. National Seat Belt Day is a nationwide reminder that one simple choice can save a life: buckle up.
Every time you get in a vehicle, whether you are driving across the country or just down the street, wearing your seat belt is one of the most important things you can do to protect yourself and the people who love you.
The Kailee Mills Foundation invites schools, first responders, businesses, churches, families, and communities across the country to join us on November 14 in spreading this lifesaving message.

Why We Buckle Up
National Seat Belt Day is deeply personal to the Kailee Mills Foundation.
Sixteen year old Kailee Mills was riding with friends when she briefly removed her seat belt. Moments later, the vehicle crashed. Kailee was ejected and lost her life. The other occupants, who remained buckled, survived.
Her family turned an unimaginable loss into a mission to help prevent other families from experiencing the same tragedy.
Today, the Kailee Mills Foundation works to save lives and protect families by increasing seat belt use through education, awareness, and support.
On November 14 and every day, we ask you to make one simple choice:
Buckle Up, Someone 💚s You
