Craig, 19, gained his wings on August 22, 2015. Craig and some of his friends were out in a land clearing off a backroad having a bonfire. When leaving, he and one of his buddies got into his Toyota truck. Neither of them were buckled up and they lost control of the vehicle, causing them to drive up an embankment and flip the truck. Craig was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene from major head trauma.
Craig always had a smile on his face and had an upbeat personality. He had a way of being a friend to those that needed one. He was a friend to many at Jeffers High School and is greatly missed by his friends and family. He grew up surrounded by 8 sisters and 5 brothers and was especially close to his three brothers near his age. His family would like to remind everyone of the dangers of drinking and driving; always let someone else drive if you are under the influence. EVERY life is valuable. “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away” Revelation 21:4
